Side Effects
I’ve been on a movie roll and tonight we watched Side Effects staring Rooney Mara, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta Jones and Channing Tatum. I love me some Rooney Mara. This movie had all the right twists and turns that keeps viewers on edge. If you’re into suspense films, this is a good one to watch!

Logan is two months old already. Time passed by so quickly and I heading back to work next month. It’s going to be hard not seeing this cute face all day, every day.

Outback Hawaii Kai
Cam and I were fortunate enough to attend Outback Steakhouse’s tasting for their new menu. In addition to a new menu, we were able to sit in one of two private rooms. For those that have never been to an Outback, not all restaurants have private rooms. This particular location seats about 15 in each room. On to the menu!
We were all given two drinks: a Key lime coconut-rita and a blue moon beer. The key lime coconut rita tasted exactly like a key lime pie and felt like it was a drink that would not stop refilling itself. It was so good but almost like a meal by itself.
For an appetizer we tried their Crab and Avocado stack with chips and a wasabi vinaigrette. If I could drink that vinaigrette, I would!
They featured a Steak Flight and four new sauce flavors ( I highly recommend the Diablo - I die for that sauce!) on top of a crispy mashed potato patty. Two of my steaks were perfectly cooked and one was way to rare for me. Still, all three were extremely delicious.
I wish I saved room for dessert because I barely finished my cake pops. They offered a cheesecake, peanut butter chocolate and carrot cake cake pop.
I’m still surprised with the service and quality of food at this Outback. If anyone is ever in the Hawaii Kai area, I highly recommend trying their new menu! We also found out they’re doing an unlimited shrimp menu soon!
Stacie G’s Brownie Brittle
Imagine a cookie, a biscotti, a chip and a brownie all knocked boots and had a baby. Their baby would be Brownie Brittle. This crunchy confused cookie thing can be found at Costco if anyone’s interested.
I thought this would be a gory zombie movie but it ended up being a cute love story. Cam said there were a lot of holes in the plot but you know what? Who cares! It was an adorable date movie and I highly recommend it. I also think Teresa Palmer is a totally underrated actress.
I love Star Trek. This was such a good movie and hopefully they continue making them. Trekkie for life.
